This is one of the best brands of essential oils I'm aware of and it is, in my opinion, worth every penny to get a "pure" essential oil for therapeutic uses. I'm using this one to treat a skin condition on our white lab (DILUTED ONLY) and it's helping calm her skin quite a bit after a severe allergic reaction to some shedding shampoo at the groomers'.Lavender is a powerful essential oil, useful for cleaning applications, allergy treatments, air freshening, inhalation/aromatherapy, and even laundry use. HOWEVER, it is vitally important that you educate yourself on the proper use of all essential oils. Virtually all of them MUST be diluted before use, either in a "carrier oil" (like grapeseed, avocado, jojoba, etc.) or in water to avoid burning the skin or mucous membranes. Amazon has a wealth of available books that can teach you more. One of my favorites is this one: Maybe it the oil was more concentrated or something but for me the smell was very sharply unpleasant. Takes my breath away even with a few drops on my fingertips. It’s also not oily to the touch but evaporates on contact like something alcohol based. I can’t use it. Sorry, but I do not recommend this product.About two decades ago when I was in England, I took a course on aromatherapy and used Tisserand oils exclusively. Their concentrations seemed particularly vibrant and although rather expensive, I felt they were the best on the market.Scoot forward to the current day and now in the US, I needed Lavender again but the brand doesn't seem so widely available here except via Amazon.Although my olfactory senses may have dwindled with age, I genuinely believe this product is just not the same as previously mentioned, lacking the pungency of the original oils.I also used a non-branded oil at about half the cost and wasn't expecting efficacy in line with Tisserand but comparing the two oils now, there seems hardly any difference.I doubt if I will purchase the Tisserand Lavender oil again whilst in the US.This isn't pure jasmine, its jasmine in jojoba oil which they then call a perfume, so don't think you're getting just jasmine. I know that's in the product description, but I missed it. I couldn't figure out why my lotion and body butter bars weren't smelling as strongly as they should have, then I read more closely!This does smell exactly like jasmine they use in Lush and other products. I live in Oregon and this doesn't smell exactly like the night blooming jasmine we grow.I am very sensitive to medications, even over the counter pain relievers. This is a must have for me. I apply it to my pressure points if I am feeling anxious or stressed. Within minutes I am calm and feel "balanced". I also use at night to help me relax and sleep. Even though it's a small bottle, it last a very long time. I would give it 6 stars if i could. Well worth it.Great product. Not a cheap watered down solution. Really nice smell. We use these at trade shows for a sensory experience. People always steal them so I order these alot.So happy to find De-Stress! I had another Tisserand essential oil that had the same ingredients as De-Stress but it was called something else. Maybe older labeling? I use De-Stress every evening. Pleasant smell. It really does aid in relaxation.My fourth review today after ordering this and three other Tisserand oils, this too isn't right. The scent is barely there and shares the same sickly after smell all the others I ordered do. I know Tisserand are fine when I have bought their oils elsewhere but something isn't right hereI purchased this after years of daily headaches. I had tried every tablet I could from my GP, seen a neurologist, some made me groggy, some did not work and others I got use to them. I only took the required dose but hated the fact I was on medication. I decided to try something more herbal and loved the reviews on this this product. I was sceptical I will be honest, anyway it arrived and certainly well packaged and fits through the letterbox! Bonus for when you are out.My job is quite demanding at times, computer work and long shift work doesn’t help, said little bottle came to work with me! As soon as I had the “feeling” I was going to get one of my headaches I popped it on my pulse points on my wrist and my temples and forgot about it. No headache! Now I still wasn’t convinced until 4 days in and more or less headache free and only take my medication in the morning is a huge difference (I have Arthritis) to my lifestyle. I have even got work colleagues buying it as they have had a little try of mine and love it. If I feel my headache isn’t going to go I will waft it under my nose and it’s gone, no headache!I am sleeping better as I will fall asleep smelling my wrist so no headache and no waking at 3am with a bad head (this has been regular for years). This product may not be for everyone I appreciate that but for £3.75 it has completely changed my life!I am young and have been suffering from bad migraines and head aches for about a year now. The doctors have sent me for scans and tried me on different medication but nothing has worked and they can source the head aches. I decided to buy this last week along with the defuser and the peppermint and lavender oil and knock on wood but I have not had a head ache in 6 days (which is a miracle). I roll this onto my wrists and behind my ears and temples and the smell is very relaxing and doesn't overpower.I read lots of review of this when I was 39 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I was recommended it to use to have a relaxing bath to help bring on labour - (other than being induced!)I mixed 3 drops into milk and out in the bath. I have never felt so relaxed in a bath and calm as I did in this bath! Cut a long story short, within 2 hours of bath I went into and delivered my baby! Would recommend for anyone wanting a product to make them feel calm!I have purchased Tisserand for years but the last two lavender essential oils, purchased with about a year between them, have not been up to the usual standard. The one purchased in April 2021 smelt awful and had a batch number of 202120. I was told then by Tisserand that they had had problems with the batch. I recently purchased another lavender essential oil thinking the same wouldn’t happen again but received the same batch number and the same problem. Amazon refunded me, thank you, but they shouldn’t still be selling oils with this number in the bottle!
