I like Suunto watches, but they are not for everyone. Some people just don't like the size face, but I like it because I can read it with or without my glasses. This says "Pure White", but the ONLY thing in it that is actually white is the watch band. I did not like the watchband since it seems to bother a nerve on my wrist; replaced the band for a metal one, which has a much better look and feel. The appearance of the watch matches my old Suunto Core, but I do miss the bezel on the old watch that also served to protect the watch face. Battery life would be much improved if it had a larger battery, which I'm surprised it doesn't since it seems to have plenty of room in such a large watch. This could be so much more, which I think Suunto has forgotten since their watches are being made in China, not Finland, where the company originated.I got this as a holdover while my regular metal watch was being overhauled in Switzerland. During the four months I found to really like in on airplanes where it's altimeter shows changes and air pressure, and the ability to set you location and have sunrise/sunset displayed beneath the time.My first Suunto was about eight years ago and I always had to take out the pamphlet to figure out what to do. This one is pretty easy to figure out without reading instructions.So far I really like it. Functions are great and simple to use.The only minor issue i have is the actual face is not really white like pictured. Its more standard grey lcd.Awesome watch for the outdoors person. I looks great and feels great! Compass is very accurate, and alto and baro are also very accurate. Just wish the backlight was brighter, although it is made as almost a tactical watch, so a very bright watch would probably give away your position in the combat field.All the functions working. Comfortable to wear. But I am not sure if I can wear it to swim and shower. I'm afraid of the damage.Really like the watch so far. I bought a third party leather band because the combo that I was looking for was not offered. I'm not a fan of the black dials around most of the models and prefer the simple brushed look. I would buy the suunto leather band but they're way overpriced.watch is not aLL WHITE. ALU NO MEANING NOT WHITEI have a Suunto dive computer, and wanted to try the above-ground version.
