Care Instructions - If you begin to notice your Pure Pad is not as effective as it once was, then it's time for a cleaning. Luckily, this is an easy task. Simply wash using some mild soap in warm to hot water, then gently agitate the surface with a brush. (Tip: Using water as hot as you can comfortably and safely handle helps to release extreme amounts of oil). Once done, rinse your pad thoroughly under warm water, wring out, then lay flat to dry. Once dry, you can use a bristle brush to bring the knap back to an "as new" state, if needed.

This is a great product. We purchased it for our 10 y.o. son who is a tournament bowler. He plays in a lot of 5-10 game set tournaments, and sometimes you can't clean the ball with actual cleaner in between any of the games, or between qualifying and stepladder. This allows him to mop up the oil much more effectively in between shots than a microfiber or cotton towel and keep his bowling balls' reaction reasonably fresh.One tip: when you wash this thing (which I try to do every month or so), use hand soap and a very gentle brush or just your hands. I mean regular old bar soap like Irish Spring. I tried dishwashing liquid on my first one, and it dried it out. We lost that pad and purchased a replacement here on Amazon. I've only used bar soap on this one, and it has not dried out. The bar soap pulls out all the lane conditioner and dirt, but leaves the leather intact. I just hang it over a towel bar to dry, or prop it up in front of a fan overnight. Good to go the next day.
